Anise Hyssop (Agastache)

$12.00

Anise hyssop (Agastache foeniculum) is a 3- to 5-foot perennial with small blue to purple/lavender flowers on 3-6-inch spikes. It flowers from June through October and is a pollinator magnet. The nectar and pollen support a wide range of native bees, flies, and Lepidoptera. The blossoms attract Ruby-throated Hummingbirds and the seeds are favorites of American Goldfinches. Anise hyssop will grow in any light conditions and while it prefers moist soil, it will survive drought conditions. Its anise scent discourages deer and rabbits.
