Wind Over Wings

On March 31 Menunkatuck sponsored a Wind Over Wings presenta­tion to the entire school. Over 270 students crammed into the school auditorium as Hope Douglas explained the char­acteristics of raptors with a Saw-whet Owl, a Red-tailed Hawk, a Golden Eagle, and a Great Horned Owl. A Cockatiel was used to illustrate the differences between raptors and other birds.
